The Law on Telephone Calls
Before making any unsolicited call to an Individual (which includes Sole Traders and Partnerships), or unsolicited marketing calls to a corporate* concern, you are obliged by law to check that the number you are calling is not on the Telephone Preference Service (TPS) or Corporate Telephone Preference Service (CTPS) Register.
The Law on sending Faxes
It is unlawful, without exception, to send an unsolicited fax to any Individual, Sole Trader or Partnership without their express permission. For all other corporate bodies, i.e. Limited and PLC Companies, Schools, Government Departments etc you must check that the number you are sending the fax to is not on the Fax Preference Service Register (FPS). |

Single Number Enquiries
If you have a few, or even just one single number to check you can use our 'Call Validator' service. 'Call Validator' is our National Phone Checking Service available 24/7 which searches the number given against all three registers simultaneously. Calls are charged by the second on the 25p per minute premium rate number 09051 180 180.
Bulk Lists
If you have a reasonable quantity of numbers to screen against the registers you can send your data to ADMAR who will match your numbers and names/addresses if required against the TPS, CTPS, FPS and MPS (Mailing Preference Service) registers.
